New England Document systems was recently approached by a highly technical New England manufacturing company who scans all of their own documents in house. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen server glitch that was not the fault of their staff or the software they use, this manufacturer lost a large amount of their electronic documents. Re-scanning all of these documents was more than their staff could handle – so they called NEdocs for help.

After identifying which document images were lost, we tracked down the proper files to be re-scanned. In no time at all, NEdocs had all of the manufacturer’s documents scanned, enabling their operations to resume as if nothing happened. When it comes to document management – it is important to have a disaster recovery plan in place. For our client – we were able to successfully prevent the loss of valuable data, significantly decreased their downtime in relation to the loss of files, and ensured that their documents were safely secured and accessible once more.

Many of our clients clients use us as their AP invoicing mailroom – having all of their invoices, correspondence, and other documents come to us to be prepped, scanned, indexed, QC’d, and uploaded by 2pm the same day. These documents are then either shredded or stored in our secure and climate-controlled records storage facility.
